This Privacy Policy explains how Siilo (the "Service"), published by Christopher Pallant, trading as IamPalski ("we", "us", "our"), collects and uses your information. Because Siilo processes the documents that flow through your workflows, please read the section on workspace data carefully.

02Information we collect
Account information
Your name, email address, organisation name and login details, and billing details handled by our payment provider.
Workspace data
The workflows, documents, comments and approvals you and your team create or upload, and data received from any third-party tools you connect.
Usage & device data
Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs, used to keep the Service secure and working.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. If we introduce optional analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
03How workspace data is processed
Workspace data is processed only to run the workflows you configure. Where a workflow uses AI, the relevant content is sent securely to trusted AI processing providers acting on our behalf, solely to return the result. We do not use your workspace data to train third-party models, and we do not sell it.
04How we use your information
- to provide the Service and run your workflows;
- to manage your account, plan and billing;
- to send service messages, such as security alerts and workflow notifications;
- to maintain, secure and improve the Service; and
- to respond to support requests.
05Legal basis (UK/EU users)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process your information on the basis of performance of a contract (to provide the features you use), our legitimate interests (to keep the service secure and to improve it), and, where required, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
06Sharing your information
We share information only with:
- members of your workspace, according to the permissions you set;
- service providers (for example, cloud hosting, AI processing, email delivery and payments) under agreements that require them to protect your data;
- third-party tools you choose to connect; and
- authorities, where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal information.
07Storage & security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and data is protected in transit using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take your privacy seriously.
08Data retention
We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account and any associated data by emailing us.
09Children
The Service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing.
