This Privacy Policy explains how iampalski.com (the "Site"), operated by Christopher Pallant, trading as IamPalski ("we", "us", "our"), handles information about visitors. The Site is a portfolio and information site: it has no accounts, no sign-up and no checkout, so there is very little to collect.
1. Who we are

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Site only. Our mobile apps are covered by their own privacy policies, which you can read here:
Purchases of guides are handled by Gumroad, and app downloads are handled by Apple. Those companies act as their own controllers for the information you give them, under their own privacy policies.
3. Information we collect
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when a page is requested — such as IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the Site running, diagnose faults and protect against abuse.
What we do not collect
The Site has no accounts, no contact forms and no newsletter sign-up. We do not collect your name, payment details or location through the Site, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any information about you.
4. Cookies and analytics
The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request; Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
If we add analytics to the Site in future, we will update this policy to say what is collected before doing so.
5. Links to other sites
The Site links to third-party services including the Apple App Store, Gumroad, TikTok, X and GitHub. We are not responsible for how those services handle your information — please read their own privacy policies before using them.
6. Legal basis (UK/EU visitors)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and in responding to enquiries we receive. Where we ever rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
7. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with our hosting provider, to the extent needed to run the Site, and with authorities where we are required to by law.
8. Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and the Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Server logs are kept only for a short period by our hosting provider. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our records.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. UK and EU visitors also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
