01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as browser local storage and session storage, which we use in the same way. When you first visit iampalski.com, a banner asks you to accept or reject optional cookies — this page explains what each category does.
02Strictly necessary
These are always on, because the Site cannot work properly without them. They do not require consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
palski-consent | Local storage | Remembers your cookie preference so we don't ask again on every visit. | Until cleared |
palski-loaded | Session storage | Skips the intro loading animation for the rest of your browsing session. | Current session |
palski-promo-seen | Local storage | Remembers that you’ve seen the welcome pop-up, so it isn’t shown again. | Until cleared |
03Optional analytics
The Site does not currently run any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes in future — for example, to add privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful — those cookies will only be set if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, and this page will be updated to list them here, with their name, purpose and duration, before they go live.
04Third-party content
Some elements on the Site are loaded directly from third-party servers rather than our own. These providers may set their own cookies or see your IP address when the page loads, independently of our consent banner:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the Poppins and JetBrains Mono typefaces used across the Site.
- jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) — serves the Lenis smooth-scrolling script used on the homepage.
We chose providers that do not use these requests for advertising, but they are outside our control. See their own privacy and cookie policies for details.
05Your choices
You can accept or reject optional cookies at any time:
- use the banner shown on your first visit;
- click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page to reopen the banner; or
- clear cookies and site data for iampalski.com in your browser settings — this resets all choices and storage described above.
Most browsers also let you block cookies globally or per-site. Doing so may affect how the Site looks or behaves, though the Site's core content will still work with cookies disabled.
06Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce a new cookie. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
