Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Renewd is developed by Christopher Pallant, trading as IamPalski ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Renewd mobile application ("Renewd," "the App"), available to users worldwide via the Apple App Store.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to all users of Renewd, in all regions and territories, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and the United States. Where local law grants you specific rights (for example, under the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA")/California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA")), those rights are addressed in Section 7 below.

3. Data We Collect

Renewd does not operate a backend server or database, and we do not collect, receive, store, or have access to any personal data you enter into the App.

All information you input into Renewd — including document and certificate names, dates, notes, your name, and CPD hours logged — is stored exclusively and locally on your own device, using your device's local storage. This data:

• Is never transmitted to us or to any third party
• Is never uploaded to any cloud service operated by us
• Is not visible to us at any time, under any circumstance
• Remains under your sole control at all times

If you delete the App or use the in-app data deletion options (see Section 6), that information is permanently erased, and because we never had a copy of it, there is nothing further for us to delete on our end.

4. Subscription and Payment Information

Renewd offers auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card details, Apple ID, or billing information. Apple's handling of this information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Renewd does not currently use any third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app/cross-website tracking software development kits (SDKs). We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes, and we do not require App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because no such tracking occurs.

If this changes in the future — for example, if crash reporting or analytics tools are added — this Policy will be updated in advance, and any tracking requiring your consent under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework will only occur after you grant permission.

6. Managing and Deleting Your Data

Because all of your data lives only on your device, you have complete and immediate control over it at all times:

• Delete individual entries: use the delete option next to any document, reminder, or CPD entry within the App
• Delete everything at once: go to Settings > Clear All Data within the App, which immediately and permanently erases all locally stored information
• Remove all data completely: delete the Renewd app from your device via iOS — this removes the app together with all of its locally stored data

No account deletion request is necessary, because Renewd does not require account creation and holds no copy of your data on any server.

7. Your Privacy Rights

If you are in the UK or European Economic Area (GDPR)

Because we do not collect or process your personal data on any server, most GDPR data-subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are already fully satisfied by the controls described in Section 6 — the data is on your device, under your control, at all times. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)) if you have concerns about our privacy practices.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not collect personal information on any server we control. You have the right to know what personal information is collected (none, beyond what's described here) and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

All users

Regardless of region, you can exercise full control over your data at any time using the in-app tools described in Section 6, without needing to contact us.

8. Children's Privacy

Renewd is intended for use by regulated financial professionals aged 18 and over. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect any information from, children under the age of 18.

9. Data Retention

Data you enter remains stored locally on your device for as long as you choose to keep it, or until you delete it using the methods in Section 6, or until you uninstall the App.

10. Security

Because your data is stored locally rather than on a central server, there is no central database for us to secure — your data's security depends on your device's own security features (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a passcode or biometric lock.

11. International Data Transfers

Because no data is transmitted off your device to us, no cross-border data transfer by us occurs. Renewd is distributed globally via the App Store; where you use the App outside the UK, your device and its local storage remain subject to the laws of your own jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and where required by law, we will notify you within the App.
